Introducing Mary Fenwick
Mary Fenwick, business coach, writer and facilitator, will MC the evening. Mary's journalism career began in radio, before moving into television (London Weekend Television) and print, including work for The Times, Good Housekeeping and as a magazine editor. She continues to write a regular online column. Her corporate and business career developed from five years in the public affairs department of GKN plc, a FTSE-100 multinational engineering company. From there, she joined the Whitehall and Industry Group (WIG) as a business director to pursue her interest in the political environment, especially how government, business and not-for-profit sectors can work together. She trained as a business coach with Meyler Campbell, with Harvard professor Carol Kauffman as her personal supervisor for coaching practice. Throughout her career, major threads have included public presentation, the art of influence, and the skills required to build enduring and genuine relationships (she hates the word networking).
Biographies of our panel of experts will be released shortly.
Can you help?
We are putting the finishing touches on this event however we are looking for our last panel member who works in Human Resources who can answer general questions relating to HR and in particular as to what employers look for when CVs are submitted. We also want to highlight network members who work in the career field by including contact details to the attendees of the event. Please contact Robyn if you can assist with either of these requests robynpeel@gmail.com
Looking forward to seeing you all on the night!

Alas our Christmas event has sold out. If you'd still like to make the event join our waiting list by emailing us at

In New Zealand she worked in educational publishing, telecommunications and television in training and development, strategic marketing, management and governance roles. It was fantastic to see so many of you last week at our largest event ever. Having sold-out at all of our previous events we thought using the Penthouse would hold everyone yet we still sold-out in just over a week with another waiting list.
Our evening closed with door prizes and numerous raffle prizes to help support the Canterbury Earthquake appeal where we raised over £300. In total across both events (September 6th at Bleeding Heart and October 11th NZ House) we're raised over £500 which has been transferred to the NZ Society. Michelle Marsh, President of the NZ Society will be presenting the funds to Bob Parker, Mayor of Christchurch on November 15th.
We will try to have Peta's DVDs at our next event as they'll make great Christmas gifts £15, Peta Unplugged in Marrakech
