Connecting with Home

Maintaining quality connections is not easy at the best of times even when located in the same city, so we can all resonate with the difficulties faced keeping in touch with friends, family and acquaintances back in NZ.

We are fortunate to have Tony Alexander Chief Economist at the BNZ visiting us in London next month. Tony is keen to share his insights not only on current key economic drivers for NZ but also the importance of developing and sustaining connections.  This is an excellent opportunity  for those wanting an open conversation around strengthening ties between NZ and the UK and the chance to frankly discuss the barriers expats are facing on reversing the “brain drain” to return “home”.  Tony is passionate about the role of kiwi expats and believes there is a gap not currently being addressed on reintegration back in NZ.

Join us for a thought-provoking evening and chance to connect over NZ wine and nibbles.

So if you want an evening of thought-provoking discussions including engaging conversation on topics such as finding out how the drought is affecting our agricultural industries, the outlook for the NZ dollar, the current state of the housing market and how we, the NZ Business Women’s network can be a key connector and open the doors to ease reintegration, this is an event not to be missed.

Courageous Conversations

"We live in a world of infinite distractions and endless demands” ~ Ernst and Young report on stress at work.

Are you interested in making conscious choices to ensure that 2013 is a really memorable year for you, for all the right reasons?
Are you ready to join in some courageous conversations that will help change the dialogue about what is important to you?

Join Tony Barton, a Life Coach and Leadership trainer, for an evening of inspiration, reflection and the beginning of some courageous conversations that will ensure that you are living a life that is important to you. Tony believes it’s time to start talking about what’s really going on in the business world. Too many good people are burning out, working to a point where they are running on empty – it doesn’t make sense. Tony is committed to starting courageous conversations for others to continue – it’s time to break the silence.

In this 24/7 connected world, it’s never been more important to work smarter, not harder.

Join us for a fantastic evening at the St Pauls Grange Hotel where you will come away with a renewed sense of commitment and purpose to live the life you really want to live.

The evening will kick off at 6:30pm with a welcome drink and nibbles in the Sky Bar, with views over St Pauls Cathedral. At 7:00pm we will move to the Milton Suite for over two hours of courageous conversations, which we can continue in the Sky Bar until 11pm.

Special thanks to Grange Hotels for hosting us for the evening.
