Many Hands, Volunteers Night

Written by The NZBWN Crew.

manyhands2The New Zealand Business Women’s Network has gone through a boom!  Five years ago we were 50, now we are over 1,000.  With our popularity going through the roof we would like to be able to offer more opportunities to learn, inspire and connect and to do this we need your support.

If you have ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes and how you could get involved then join us on Tuesday 14 October where you will have the opportunity to meet and hear from the Network’s founder, Bronwen Horton.  She will share with members how the Network operates and how you can join the team. The Network is a not-for-profit organisation that relies entirely on volunteers to run events, develop new programmes and to communicate activity via email and social media.

So, if you can host an event at your place of work or business, are a smooth event operator, a hostess with the mostess, a clever wordsmith, skilful with spreadsheets, a social media guru, tech savvy, or are keen to learn & develop new skills we would love for you to join us. It may be that you would like to volunteer on a regular basis or just the odd event.

By joining the NZBWN team you will:

  • learn new skills which will feed into your professional development plan.
  • enhance your CV and show potential employers that you are committed to corporate social responsibility.
  • give back to the Network and the NZ community in London.
  • make great connections with other volunteers.
  • have even more opportunities to network and form deeper relationships.
  • learn from peers and those that have ‘been there, done that’.
  • open up new doorways and opportunities you never knew existed.
  • be inspired!
