The New Zealand Womens Network proudly supports the Conway Wickliffe Trust.

On the 24th of September 2007 Conway was tragically killed on the set of the last Batman movie The Dark Knight. The movie was dedicated to both Conway and Heath Ledger.

Conway was born in Thames on the Coromandel peninsula and brought up in Paeroa New Zealand. Conway was the youngest of five children and the only one to venture abroad. Conway was a fitter welder by trade and a qualified Graphic Artist and combined both of his arts to get himself into the special effects industry in the UK.

Conway and Dee came to England in 1992 for an overseas experience and settled here when they had both found work in their relative industries. They were blessed with two children, Sabian and Eden.

Conway was a keen musician and he felt that music brought people together and broke down all boundaries. Conway’s Maori culture was instrumental in inspiring his love for music and sharing.

Dee, Conway's partner for 22 years is the Principal of the trust. Dee still lives in London and is a regular at our NZ Business Women events.

The Trust raises funds to aide children worldwide in need of musical instruments and facilities and to promote the Arts to those that cannot afford them. The trust is networked presently in the UK, New Zealand, Australia and South Africa.
